Hey everyone its about that time of year that I get a fantasy league going and this league will be a sure blast with all the activity in the NHL.  I have been keeping up with all the action going on in the NHL's off-season transactions including free-agents, trades, contracts and more......

After seeing the draft lottery which landed Sidney Crosby in Pittsburgh, I have decided to do a "team lottery".  This will basically have all the general managers names in a hat and we will pull the names out for their teams going down the list from Anaheim to Washington.  Of course there will be a day or two after words where you can trade teams with a fellow general manager if you get a team you really hate. (Like the Leafs)

We will be using a $39 million dollar salary cap seeing as I have gone through and done every player salary as I possibly could.  An other thing we could look into is the Crosby Draft as I have not put those prospects into the league yet.  We could keep those prospects where they are in the NHL or we can re-do that draft lottery style like the NHL has done this summer.

The Rosters Are Out

I have released the rosters with all the contracts that I could find.  All the players under contract are the players that are shown to be on the NHL club and all players that are not singed are on the farm club right now.  I have also released the free-agents list that shows which free-agents are rfa's and which are ufa's.

Now it is time to find general managers if you know of any friends or relatives who would be interested in the league let me know or get them signed up in the forum.
